Group participation is becoming easier to follow across Android and iOS, with clearer membership controls and better handling when group information can’t be loaded. These changes also tighten access to group photos and make saved privacy and appearance preferences work more consistently in the native apps.

On Android, approved group memberships can load, and errors offer a way to retry. On iOS, you can see group activity and use membership controls. Joining groups is limited to approved members, and access to group photos is restricted to approved viewers.

Privacy choices now persist in the native apps, and your saved appearance setting is applied. Together, these improvements make it easier to keep track of groups while ensuring your preferences carry over between sessions.
