The Signal Upstairs is taking shape with better tools for building and checking its maps, while the project website is gathering practical setup information for people interested in playtesting.

New map-authoring tools validate work as it’s prepared, and workshop profiles are better protected from accidental changes. These improvements support the game’s development rather than adding a new player-facing feature.

The website’s playtest information now covers verified Knox installers for Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS, along with guidance on local network access and tester accounts. This should make it easier to understand the setup involved when taking part in a playtest.
