StarrPrep is making it easier to capture career wins while they’re fresh, turn them into stronger STARR interview stories, and keep useful details intact as you refine them. Recent improvements also make sign-in and AI-assisted resume work more straightforward.

Capture wins on mobile

Mobile win capture is now a central part of the experience, with dictation to help you record an accomplishment in your own words and a privacy review step before moving forward. When you revisit a win, StarrPrep keeps the notes you’ve already reviewed and directs follow-up questions toward details that are still missing.

This gives you a more focused starting point for shaping an experience into a STARR story. If AI suggests metrics that aren’t supported by what you shared, your original capture still remains usable rather than being left as an empty bullet.

More dependable AI-assisted work

Resume imports are being made more structured, and empty AI responses are rejected instead of being treated as useful results. For people using Ollama, the app also handles model cold starts and provides a way to stop waiting for an AI response.

These changes aim to keep AI assistance grounded in the information you provide while making it clearer when a result isn’t ready to use.

Sign in with Google

Google sign-in now supports both the website and StarrPrep’s native apps, with StarrPrep branding verified for the sign-in experience.
