A family photo library should feel like a collection of memories, not just a pile of files. Our Photo Share brings photos and videos together around the people and stories that make them worth keeping.
The October development update refreshes the family experience and implements private sharing. Changes span the dashboard, gallery, sharing endpoints, and authenticated photo access. The work connects the visual experience of browsing memories with the practical question of who should be able to see them.
Albums and selected guest sharing are part of that direction: make it easier to share a particular set of memories without turning the whole library into a public feed. This update describes the implementation milestone; people should still choose their intended audience when sharing.
