Lazy Pants Recorder is improving how meeting transcripts keep track of who said what, while also tightening some behind-the-scenes protections for the app and its supporting services.

Speaker diarization—the ability to distinguish speakers in a recording—has been restored in the transcription pipeline. On Android, app data is no longer included in managed device backups or device-to-device transfers, so those system tools may not carry your app data to a new device.
