Lanterns of Larkvale is getting more dependable map-authoring tools and better visibility into website problems. The game remains in development, with this update focused on the tools used to shape its fantasy region and the website where you can find project and playtest information.
More reliable map authoring
Work on the game’s built-in map-authoring tools adds validation, brings workspace locations together, and includes safeguards for workshop profiles. For people working with these tools, the emphasis is on checking authored content and keeping the workspace more consistent. These are authoring improvements rather than new exploration abilities or playable areas.
Better visibility into website errors
Browser-error monitoring is being added to the website. This helps identify errors encountered while browsing project and playtest information, giving website problems a clearer route to investigation. It does not change the game’s abilities or playtest access.
Tester setup guidance has also been expanded to cover verified Knox installers for Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS, along with local-network access and credential handling. Those operating-system references apply to the setup utility—not to confirmed game-platform support. Together, these changes focus on making authoring, testing preparation, and the information website easier to support as Lanterns of Larkvale takes shape.
