Hardpoint Rivals is taking shape as a compact team game built around competing for objectives. A first LAN playable version of its hardpoint mode has been implemented and validated, giving the project a concrete foundation for local playtests.

Work is also improving how arenas can be built and checked. Native map-authoring tools now include validation and lighting guidance, while workshop profiles are being protected. This should make it easier to prepare arenas and catch issues during authoring.

The project website continues to provide project and playtest information. Its guidance is being clarified with installer information for Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS, plus details about LAN access.
