Afterlight: Containment: development update · 2026-10-21

Afterlight: Containment is taking a new direction: the game is being rebuilt as Cow Squad, a cooperative farmland trap-defense experience. Alongside that shift, the project website adds a playable browser drill, giving visitors a separate way to try a small piece of the project.

The game’s packaged build has also received attention after a startup crash was identified. That issue has been addressed, with packaged checks recorded as part of the work. The project remains in development as its gameplay direction evolves.
