Afterlight: Containment is taking shape as a first-person survival horror game about facing monster waves across selectable stages. The current work focuses on a validated solo prototype and better tools for building and checking the worlds those encounters take place in.

Stage creation is becoming more structured: native tools support map authoring, lighting, and reusable profiles, with validation to catch issues during preparation. That gives the team a clearer way to shape and check environments before they’re used in playtests.

The prototype also has interactive developer controls to support testing. These are development improvements, not a new player-facing release; the game remains in development.
